De Perfekti Maa by Swiss singer Myrto Joannidis was the official song to 'The Coke Light Man 2004' (beauty) contest. The video clip, produced by Plan B production company, tells the story of her quest for the perfect guy. She samples through a bunch of hunks, but is dissatisfied with each. So she attempts to make up her own version, by cutting the men up and assembling the parts into — you guessed — the Perfect Man, who turns out to be a prop. Each of the twelve finalists of the contest were filmed in front of a pure white backdrop. These clips had to be composited into various green areas of the foreground clip showing Myrto at her paperwork. As the footage was shot on 16mm material (oh, that luvvly grain...), achieving smooth and clean edges when objects/body parts moved over the masked areas was a particular challenge.
